If you are looking for app ideas, maybe all you have to do is to take a look at your website. What kind of functionality could you offer your customers in an app? What features could you give your app that would help extend your website’s usability?
Take a look at how these apps complement the websites for which they are connected.
Amazon’s mobile app connects with your Amazon.com account. It allows you to put items into your shopping cart and even get to know where your recent orders are now. You can even search for any item that’s available on Amazon.com.
But that’s not all that you can do with this app. You can snap an item’s barcode and get a list of prices for that item. It also allows you to take a picture of any item and find where you could buy it. This feature is perfect during instances when you see a shirt or a pair of shoes that the person next to you is wearing and that you want for yourself. All you have to do is take a picture and getting it becomes easy!
Paypal is still the fastest and safest way to pay online, but it’s getting to be convenient to use Paypal’s mobile app for these two features:
a. The ability to deposit checks into your PayPal account just by snapping a photo of your check. This allows you to forego going to the bank.
b. You can bump your phones together to get paid. Say a friend owes you money. He or she can just fire up the Paypal app and then tap it on your phone to transfer the balance to your PayPal account.
WebMD is a reliable health care related site that details different diseases, from symptoms to diagnosis and treatment and care.
But what if you suddenly feel a tightening of your chest and you’re on the road? Check out WebMD’s symptom checker on its mobile app, and see if it’s something serious or not.
