QR codes could easily make your marketing materials work harder. This is true for marketing posters and in-store sign, as well as other marketing campaigns.
This is because QR codes can help you engage your customers.
However, it seems that in a world where just about every marketing flyer you see has a QR code, just putting up a black and white QR code is not enough.
You need to differentiate your QR codes from everybody else’s and there is no easier to do that than using a custom QR code.
Why should you use a custom QR code?
1. Assure your customers that the QR code is safe to scan.
With all the articles coming out about malware and viruses hiding behind QR codes, a lot of your customers might be thinking twice about scanning your QR codes. Having a custom QR code on your marketing materials is a great way to show ownership of the QR code. It tells your customers that it is from you and it is safe to scan.
2. Make your QR code stand out.
You have a lot of marketers using the same old black and white QR code, so why join the bandwagon? You can easily make your QR code stand out using colors and graphics, making people pay attention. What’s more, you could use your brand’s colors with your custom QR codes, effectively using your brand recognition to your advantage.
3. Custom QR codes allow you to engage your customers better than ordinary QR codes.
If you look at it from a design perspective, you will be forced to put your QR code to the sidelines because it is black and white and would not go well with the overall look of your marketing materials. A black and white QR code will stick out like a sore thumb in a full color poster, right? So what could you do then? Customize your QR code and make it conform to you design scheme.
