QR Codes Now under Bottle Caps


When it comes to marketing, nothing beats QR codes. It is small and it can be customized to fit your branding and the design of your product packaging.

In fact, QR codes have been showing up on product packaging for a number of years now. A lot of the world’s biggest brands have used QR codes to help sell and market their products.

Over the years, however, product packaging that uses QR codes usually place it on labels and on the outside. Crown Closures North America is trying to change that.

Crown Closures North America is a metal packaging company. They are now offering a service that would put QR codes under bottle caps.

Crown Closures marketing director Sheila Heath explains that they came up with the idea so that companies that do not want to change the designs of their packaging can still make use of QR codes. So rather than defacing your current packaging, you can just put it under the cap where customers could still scan it successfully.

That sounds like a great idea. You could also use these under the cap or crown QR codes for promotions. For example, your customers can scan the QR code under the cap to enter a raffle draw. This way, you do not have to ask them for proof of purchase or even ask them to keep bottle caps or labels. This is because the QR code will not be scannable unless they buy the product and open it.

This is also great for reward programs, as well as giving your customer discounts on their next purchase.

So you see, putting QR codes under the cap is not just for aesthetics and branding, but also to make it easier for you to market your product. Your customers would also love how convenient it will be for them as well!
