Precision Dynamics has just announced that it will be adding QR code wristbands to its VIP Band product line.
These QR code wristbands allow event organizers to connect, communicate and interact with their guests and patrons. These wristbands may be used to give out timely information about the event they are attending, or to give a discount on the prices of tickets for upcoming shows. It could lead to the organizer’s websites, the performers’ biographies, or ask them to subscribe to your newsletter. You could also take them to your Facebook page or Twitter account, or let them view behind the scenes videos on YouTube. If you have an app for the event or for your company, you could also use these QR code wristbands to make it easier for your event’s attendees to download and install it.
The idea is to use these QR codes to engage the attendees further, making it easier for you to market upcoming events and keep them interested. This way, you are at the top of their minds, instead of just being forgotten after the concert or the exhibit is over.
The best thing about Precision Dynamics’ QR code wristbands is that you can strengthen your branding or use really attractive images because it allows for full color printing.
What’s more, you could do away with ticket printing costs if you make use of these wristbands for your tickets. Instead of paper tickets, give your attendees a ticket that they could wear!
This is not the first time that we have seen wearable QR codes. We have QR codes printed on t-shirts, dresses, and even on necklaces, beadwork and earrings. We have also previously reported on a company called Skanz that used QR codes to help you share your personal information. You create a Skanz profile, including your Twitter accounts, website URL and other aspects of your online life and the system will generate a QR code for you. These QR codes will then be placed on a wristband for you to wear.
