Imagine getting access to a database of more than 7,500 plants that represents images and information collected over the past 18 years? Imagine being to offer that information for the plants in your garden?
Joy of Plants offers this kind of service to horticulturists, plant lovers and garden centers. They are launching the Plant Info QR codes at the Garden Forum trade show happening on the first week of September.
Joy of Plants will be at Stand E107 and E108 at Four Oaks.
The database of plant information and images is created and maintained by the company, so you are guaranteed that you are giving your own visitors accurate details of your plants. You can use these QR codes on any plant label because there are no restrictions.
Joy of Plants have already tested, formatted and sized the QR codes, so all you have to do is to print them and stick them onto the plant labels.
What’s more, they have made sure that their mobile pages are optimized for mobile devices, so it would display well when you scan the QR codes.
Further, have we mentioned that the service is free? So plant nurseries, gardens and other interested parties would be able to put up the QR codes for their plants and gain access to the Joy of Plants database. You do not have to research, collate and put it all together on a mobile site, they do it all for you.
Joy of Plants also has a plant finder and plant information mobile app that is available for iPhone owners. You can search for any plant using the app and you will get more information about them and how to grow them. If you have a garden, you might be looking for specific types of plants that would grow well in it, such as those that would grown in specific kinds of soil, or which plants would have a specific flower color.
