QR Codes is one of the technologies being actively promoted, thanks to education and extensive coverage by conventional and online media. What they see in the QR Code technology is that it’s better simply because it’s more engaging, interesting, makes people curious and interactive. When accessed, it encourages people to buy. QR Code also ties in well with branding and enhancing awareness.

Philip Warbasse is the founder of Warbasse Design, a clothing company based in LA. The clothing line not only included QR Codes in their ads and marketing campaigns but they went on to put QR Codes on the apparel too. The clothing line also offered its customers coupons on their phones which they can instantly access and make use of upon checking out…on the same day.

This applies to clickable online videos as well. It’s generating a lot of attention in the cyberworld and will soon seep into the real world as well.     FYI – Warbasse Design is not a clothing company. Warbasse Design is an interactive agency operating in Santa Monica, CA and across the US. They provide QR Code campaigns for the apparel industry including Lucky Brand Jeans – which is the campaign you refer to in your post. Warbasse Design also created the QR Code campaign for Iron Man 2, HBO’s True Blood and Disney’s TRON Legacy.
