The first ever quick response code exhibition is set to take place in the United Kingdom. The QR World Expo will be held on October 24, 2012 at London’s Royal Horticultural Hall. The event will include an exhibition as well as a conference, giving experts in the industry, developers, marketers, brands or businesses, and agencies from various parts of the world the opportunity to be in one location and discuss the latest innovations and knowledge related to QR codes.
We think that this expo’s a long time coming. With the number of companies, brands and consumers who embrace QR codes and their many benefits continuously rising, an event that focuses on these codes is well-deserved.
QR World Expo Head of Operation Adam Leese said that the event hopes for industry specialists, service providers and users of the technology in general to come together to share their ideas and experiences, to learn more about the technology, and to encourage innovation as far as the technology is concerned. Attendees to the event will also be able to witness the unveiling of new mobile solutions and other technologies.
A number of experts, exhibitors and sponsors have been invited and, for some, have already been registered to take part in the event.
After the first QR Word Expo, there are plans of holding later exhibitions for the United States and the Far East. These exhibitions, however, won’t be taking place this year. They are slated to be held in 2013, although no exact date has been fixed yet.
For people who are interested in attending the QR World Expo or are seeking more information about the event, you can visit the World QR Code Exhibit’s site at www.qrworldexpo.com. This year’s event is sponsored by QR Pay Ltd, which is a specialist technology company focusing on the field of mobile payments and quick response codes.
