Looking at the Android App Market, it is easy to get lost in the multitude of apps that are offered, with more and more added everyday. For some perspective, Google’s Apps Market has around 200,000 apps in May 2011, less than three years after being launched. Apple’s App Store during that time had around 381,000 apps. It is estimated that the App Market would surpass Apple’s App Store by this month with 425,000 apps.
What’s more, in April 2011 there were 28,000 new apps added to the market.
Admit it, not all apps are worth the download even if it is free. Most Android newbies spend time and money downloading and testing out a lot of apps before finding an app they like. This while others spend a lot of time browsing from one page to another just to find an interesting app.
So how do you cut through the clutter?
The Best Apps Market can recommend the top apps and games for you. These recommendations come from a group of human editors and have been judged as the best app to use in whatever functionality you have. If you need the best Web browser, then look out for their recommendation for the top browser.
If you do not have a particular app in mind, you could check out “App of the Day” and you might stumble upon a great app you never knew you wanted.
Looking for reviews and want to find out what the community thinks? You got it! You can get pros and cons commentaries from real users like you.
This also allows users to search for certain other apps.
They also include a widget to help you get their App of the Day recommendations and your Last Installed Apps.
The app also lets you manage your installed apps, allows for quick uninstalls and shows you what you could move to your SD card in order to free up phone memory.
This is a great example of an app that gives the users a significant degree of convenience and actually solves several problems for them. The easy-to-use interface and the selection and inclusion of certain features make this app a great addition to any Android device.
